I'm home for Thanksgiving! Yay temporary freedom! 8D

Thanks to those who tried to help my sister solve those damn bike-lock riddles. First thing getting my hands on it I tried to force it open cause that's what I do. But APPARENTLY those things are made to not be forced open?? xD So then using the first number my sister had figured out, I ended up just cycling through the possible combinations for the second till it popped open~ VICTORY. 8D So yeah, in the end we got it open even without solving it. |D

I started playing Dragon Age Origins. I gotta say, it's... interesting, but not as awesome as I was anticipating. I swear I do more conversing than actual gameplay, and the fighting system just confuses the hell out of me. And that's coming from someone who pwns the FFXII system. I guess I hate having to remember so many different things, too many variables, you know? I'm thinking and hoping it'll get better as it progresses, because after Assassin's Creed, I'm good on boring, super expensive, over-hyped video-games.

So I had been planning to go to NYU for the summer for classes I can't get at my retarded Big-10 University, but then this internship in Shanghai popped out of nowhere, SO LOOKS LIKE I'M GOING TO CHINA FOR THE SUMMER. I just don't even know where in the hell my life is going nowadays. It's like... this is a really good thing, and I'm excited, but at the same time I... really did want to go to NYU. I just want to do what's best, and it's really hard when I don't know what "what's best" is.

I made rice balls and some badass asian inspired pork today for dinner. Yes, this is significant. I refused to tell my mother what I was cooking the entire time and didn't let her in the kitchen because she has a habit of taking over any task within 5 meters of her body, and that's not acceptable when I'm cooking. She thought I was insane when I pulled out Risotto rice (I couldn't find any japanese medium-grain in ANY freaking grocery store, and Risotto's the next best thing), and was pretty damn convinced I didn't know what in the hell I was doing. Well let me tell you, upon tasting the meal I spent like 2 hours making (that damn rice needs to be washed about 90 times before it's acceptable), she was singing my praises. Smug? Yes. Yes, I was.

I'm working on commissions and owed art. I AM I SWEAR. Please continue to be patient. SUMIMASEN.

I think that's all I've got. Everyone's gone to sleep, so I'm bored. Maybe I'll go rearrange my bookshelf.
